Hair Restoration
Your Hair Deserves a Second Chance
Hair loss is one of those things that sneaks up on you. At first it’s a little extra shedding in the shower. Then a widening part, a thinner ponytail, a hairline that’s slowly retreating. By the time most people come see us, they’ve been quietly watching it happen for a while — and quietly wishing something could be done.
Something can.
At Big Country Med Spa, we offer advanced, non-surgical hair restoration treatments that work with your body’s own biology to slow hair loss, reawaken dormant follicles, and support the growth of thicker, healthier hair. No transplants. No prescriptions with complicated side effects. Just real science, expertly applied.
Real results you can feel.
Who Is Hair Restoration For?
Hair restoration at Big Country is designed for men and women who are experiencing:
- Thinning hair across the crown or top of the scalp
- A widening part or reduced hair density
- A receding hairline (early to moderate stages)
- Postpartum hair shedding
- Hair loss related to stress, hormonal changes, or nutritional deficiencies
- Androgenetic alopecia (hereditary hair thinning)
The earlier you start treatment, the better the results. Hair restoration works best when there are still living follicles to stimulate — it’s about reviving what’s there, not creating something from scratch. If you’ve noticed changes and you’re wondering whether it’s too late, the honest answer is: come in and let us take a look. Most people are better candidates than they think.
Our Approach: PRP and Exosome Therapy
We use two of the most clinically supported, cutting-edge tools in non-surgical hair restoration — Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy and exosome therapy. These can be used individually or combined into a more powerful protocol depending on your degree of hair loss and your goals.
PRP Hair Restoration
Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy starts with a small draw of your own blood. We spin it in a centrifuge to concentrate the growth factors and platelets — the components of your blood that signal healing and tissue regeneration. That concentrated plasma is then injected directly into the scalp at the level of the hair follicles.
Those growth factors get to work immediately, increasing blood supply to the follicles, extending the active growth phase of each hair, and stimulating follicles that have gone dormant back into action. Over the following months, you’ll notice less shedding, more coverage, and hair that feels noticeably thicker and stronger.
PRP is safe, natural, and has a strong body of clinical evidence behind it. Because it uses your own biology, there’s no risk of allergic reaction — and no foreign substances introduced into your body.
Exosome Hair Restoration
Exosomes represent the next generation of regenerative medicine — and they’re producing remarkable results in hair restoration. Exosomes are tiny cellular messengers that carry growth factors, proteins, and signaling molecules that instruct cells how to repair and regenerate.
When delivered into the scalp, exosomes send powerful signals to hair follicle cells, accelerating regrowth, reducing inflammation that can contribute to hair loss, and supporting the health of the follicle at a cellular level. Many clients find exosome therapy delivers faster, more dramatic results than PRP alone — and it’s an excellent option for those who want to supercharge their treatment protocol.
Exosome therapy can be performed as a standalone treatment or layered with PRP for a comprehensive approach that covers more ground and gets results more quickly.
What to Expect During Your Treatment
Your Consultation
Every hair restoration journey at Big Country starts with a thorough consultation. Your provider will assess your scalp, review your hair loss history, discuss any contributing factors (hormones, nutrition, stress, family history), and recommend the right treatment protocol for you. There’s no pressure and no one-size-fits-all approach here — your plan will be built around your specific situation.
The Day of Your Treatment
For PRP, a small blood draw is taken and processed in our centrifuge right here in the office — the whole preparation takes about 10 minutes. A topical numbing solution is applied to the scalp to keep you comfortable, and your provider then administers precise microinjections across the treatment area. The process is quick and well-tolerated by most clients. You’ll be in and out in about an hour.
Exosome therapy follows a similar process — the exosome solution is delivered into the scalp via microinjections, either on its own or immediately following PRP preparation for a combined treatment session.
After Your Treatment
There’s minimal downtime. Your scalp may feel slightly tender and you might notice mild redness or small bumps at the injection sites for a day or two — this is completely normal and resolves quickly. You can wash your hair gently the following day and return to your normal routine right away. We ask that you avoid heavy exercise and direct sun exposure on the scalp for 24 hours post-treatment.
When Will You See Results?
Hair restoration requires patience — because you’re working with your body’s natural biology, not a quick fix. Here’s a realistic timeline of what to expect:
- Weeks 2 to 4: Reduced shedding. Many clients notice their hair is falling out less.
- Months 2 to 3: Early regrowth. Fine new hairs begin to appear, and existing hair may feel stronger.
- Months 4 to 6: Visible thickening. Coverage improves noticeably and hair density increases.
- Months 6 to 12: Full results. Most clients see their most significant improvement at the six- to twelve-month mark.
For best results, most clients complete an initial series of three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions every six to twelve months to sustain their results long-term.
Frequently Asked Questions
Am I a good candidate for PRP or exosome hair restoration?
Most men and women experiencing early to moderate hair thinning are excellent candidates. Results are best when there are still active follicles present. The best way to find out is to come in for a consultation — your provider will assess your scalp and give you an honest, personalized recommendation.
How many treatments will I need?
Most clients start with an initial series of three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments every six to twelve months. The exact number depends on the degree of hair loss and how your scalp responds to treatment.
Is PRP hair restoration safe?
Yes. PRP uses your own blood, so there’s no risk of allergic reaction or rejection. It’s been used in medicine for decades for wound healing, orthopedic care, and cosmetic applications, and it has a strong clinical safety record specifically for hair restoration.
What's the difference between PRP and exosome therapy for hair?
PRP uses concentrated growth factors from your own blood to stimulate follicle activity. Exosome therapy delivers a more targeted and potent concentration of cellular signaling molecules that drive regeneration at a deeper level. Both work — exosomes often produce faster or more pronounced results and are an excellent option for combining with PRP for maximum impact.
Will I need to keep doing treatments forever?
Maintenance treatments are recommended to sustain your results long-term — typically once or twice a year after completing your initial series. Hair loss is an ongoing process for many people, so consistent care helps keep results in place. Think of it like your skin — a little ongoing attention goes a long way.
Does hair restoration work for women?
Absolutely. Hair thinning in women is incredibly common — hormonal changes, postpartum shedding, stress, and genetics all contribute — and it’s something that often goes undertreated. PRP and exosome therapy are highly effective for female pattern hair loss and many other causes of thinning in women.
Is there any downtime?
Minimal. Most clients experience mild scalp tenderness and possible minor redness for a day or two. You can return to your normal activities immediately and wash your hair gently the day after treatment.
