Cara Lyon, LMT, MMP, MLDT

Cara has had a lifelong passion for the human body, movement, and caring for others. She graduated from the University of Utah with her B.S. in Exercise Sports Science in 2012, and shortly after began working as a physical therapy assistant in Glendale, Arizona. Cara further developed her interest in rehabbing musculoskeletal injuries using both movement and myofascial release techniques. In 2020 she decided to further her education by becoming a licensed massage therapist, as she firmly believes hands on body work is critical to rehabbing injury, restoring health, and freeing people from chronic pain. Cara has traveled the world to learn and experience body work from some of the very best therapists. She enjoys teaching clients more about their bodies and self-care methods to accelerate healing and improve quality of life. Cara and her husband, Steve,  moved to Abilene, Texas in 2016 with their 3 daughters. They enjoy living an active lifestyle, traveling, and serving in their church. Cara is an avid triathlete and a 3-time Ironman finisher, so when she is not in body work sessions, you will often find her cycling or running.
